Family Sunday – Feb 7, 2010
Family Sunday was another successful, fun day for our church family. A delicious potluck dinner was topped off with Brave’s birthday cake.
With a large assortment of games to choose from, several groups settled into playing. Apples to Apples was a popular choice. One of the most intense though was a game of Jenga played by Len & Judy Ivel, Ron & Cindy LaPointe and Carol Mulrain. The tower reached an incredible height of 30 levels before toppling. Miss you guys, looks like fun times – see you in a few months; save a spot for us – will bring home a new game, Tell everyone we think of them often and miss you all; stay healthy
This was the first time I ever played this game. What fun! Suspense, strategy and excitement all in one game and fun for all ages. I thought Len would have the edge with his archetectual background, but as you can see by the video it all came crashing down around him. Maybe you should’ve left your hat on for balance Len!
The kids enjoy family sunday so very much! They are not shy about playing games with the adults and it is such a great way to get to know the kids of our congregation. I love Family Sunday myself and look forward to it each and every month.
Makes us miss you all but nice to see that the Family Sunday is continuing; we’ll be back to join you in a few months. Prayers and Good Health to all.
